• Maternal stress during pregnancy and its impact on birth outcomes and the birth experience
• Effects of stress on foetal neural development and perception of social stimuli
• Mental and psychological health in the perinatal period
• Effects of stress during pregnancy on mother-child bonding
CURRENT PROJECTS:
As a study midwife, I will be responsible for caring for pregnant women during the study period and performing ultrasound measurements. For my doctoral thesis, I will investigate the links between stress during pregnancy, foetal neural development and maternal mental health.
