PhD Candidate
Research Interests:
I am interested in obesity and diabetes research. For my PhD I am analysing the effects of different interventions like exercise, diabetes medication and bariatric surgery on central insulin sensitivity. To probe central insulin sensitivity, I use intranasal insulin during MRI measurements. Furthermore, I investigate the effects of changes in central insulin sensitivity on food picture processing and cognitive functions.
